Typical Notch Configurations

Swept response differences between deep & narrow notches

Narrow notches are typically used in applications where very close rejection is required. This is usually much closer than the typical repeater spacing, <20% repeater offset spacing.

Deep notches are typically used for duplexer notches and are sometimes called "pass-notch cans". Duplexers are usually built from either four or six of these deep notches.
